About

Opened Heart Publishing was founded by Rob Oberto, D.Min, in early 2015, to help Christians deepen their personal relationship with God through printed media. We often say that we have a personal relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ, but too often we don’t know how to deepen that relationship. Opened Heart desires to help make that relationship more real and vibrant.

Our books, blogs, and resources are carefully written, or chosen, to provide an intensely personal and biblical perspective on taking the next step in our relationship with God. Whether new or mature in faith, we can always know God more deeply. We can always be more open and transparent with Him. Opening our hearts to God is what we are all about.

Rob Oberto earned his Doctor of Ministry degree from Bakke Graduate University in Seattle, WA, his Master of Divinity degree from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in Hamilton, MA, and his undergraduate business degree from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, MA. He has been a pastor, teacher, IT administrator, speaker, and writer. He lives with his family in the Pacific Northwest.

He and his wife enjoy trips to the Oregon coast, Mt. Hood, and down the Columbia River Gorge.

Just about ready to take off from Winthrop, WA (2009) in our little Cessna 150. Good times. We miss our plane. It was great fun!
